Our Faculty

Bronwyn is the Marketing Coordinator and focuses on assisting DAS in all of our marketing endeavors and events, including managing our social networking profiles and overseeing our ATL and BTL marketing. She’s a naturally creative person and has a very high level of business professionalism.

Louise Aspeling is the course coordinator, and takes care of the general day to day operations of the school. Her kind manner and ability to interact with people are valued assets. As an organizational whizz, she manages all timetables and events, as well as our workshop courses and shot-course groups. She is the person who handles most of the queries regarding the school, and is always ready to help you out.

Kyle has a Masters Degree in Industrial Design from the University of Johannesburg, and lectures and mentors many industrial design students weekly. Visualizing ideas and being able to represent them in 3D is paramount to effective drawing and painting, and Kyle’s strong background in perspective, form, shape and line will elevate students to high levels of structural drawing understanding. Kyle is an approachable, extremely helpful person, and students will enjoy learning from him. 

Scott has been involved in digital art and design for over 10 years, with a thorough knowledge of fundamental and advanced principles and digital techniques. His skill set encompasses drawing, painting and character design,  as well as environment and hard surface design, and he is passionate about sharing knowledge and teaching.

Chester is the IT systems administrator, and manages our intranet systems infrastructure as well as our internal communication technologies. He has a diploma in Programming and Development, and has an intimate knowledge of computer systems and set-ups. Chester is the person to talk to if students experience any problems, or have concerns with their computer hardware or software.
